So what’s with the name November Bravo and logo, right?
The logo is a Directional Gyro used to indicate aircraft heading.
The little red triangle is a Heading Bug used as a constant reminder of where the aircraft should be heading.
In our logo, the Heading Bug is placed on N, and the Directional Gyro shows that the aircraft is on track heading North, and we “Press On toward the Goal”.
In aviation-speak, Northbound is abbreviated as “NB”, the letters of which are pronounced "November Bravo".
So now you know.
November Bravo supports local aviation-based charities and not-for-profit organisations both financially and in a volunteer capacity.
