Dr. Edna Yeo
(BSc, GradDipMktgMgt, MBA, PhD)
Edna is a senior management professional with more than 15 years in business management, incorporating business development, channel management, strategy development and implementation, compliance and risk. Edna has the proven ability to significantly advance an organisation’s goals through highly developed commercial skills in new businesses development and expansion of existing business, thereby increasing a company’s revenue and growth. She has a deep understanding of all aspects of the procurement process and regulation in government and commercial sectors, as well as financial control in managing budgets, profit and loss and financial modelling for projects.
Edna has project managed bids, working with Executive teams in developing company value propositions and strategic approach to develop winning bids of up to $200M, managing and resourcing large bid teams of between 10 – 100 people, with preparation of bid strategies of up to 18 months.
As a certified PRINCE2 Project Manager with certifications in quality management, she led the review resulting in downgrading an organisation’s risk rating from Very High to Medium within 6 months, through change management and improvement in operational processes/policies.
Edna has a PhD in the fields of Industrial and Organisational Psychology, and Organisation and Management Theory. Her thesis "Self-sufficiency for the long-term unemployed: Efficacy of novel case management" investigated the efficacy of the Self-Sufficiency Case Management Model as a service and business model, as applied in an Australian not-for-profit organisation delivering employment services program.
